"Grandma, can we make cookies. Can I use the cookie scoop? "
The cookie scoop is Trevor's new favorite kitchen tool. I may have to look for one for "someone" for Christmas. I already have the chef hats (thanks to Suzanne's great birthday for Lily pictures).
Cooking is a great activity for young and not so young though I think Grandma should perhaps have a few more gender neutral aprons on hand too ( wink).
So, speaking of gifts having to be given ... What do you want for your birthday? And what kind of birthday dessert - we don't limit ourselves to cake around here! Don't forget to call David and invite him down for dinner on Friday night - we'll make it your birthday celebration!! I'll even get party hats and noise markers!

I have the feeling that designating it a "cookie" scoop (as opposed to a veggie scoop, perhaps) ups the cool factor exponentially.
So the Christmas theme is "Baking with Grandma" ? Excellent idea. All sorts of cool gadgets to get the grandkids.
