3 Degrees of Separation

We have a new elder in our ward, Elder Ellingson. He comes from a small town about 20 minutes from Longmont, Colorado. His grandfather lives in Virginia. Nathan had dinner at his grandfathers house a couple of months ago - his grandpa told Nathan that he had a grandson serving a mission in the Everett, Washington mission. Elder Ellingson and his companion had dinner at our house this evening.

Our world just got a little smaller.

I loved that ride if only for the air conditioning. A world at peace is a world with temperate climes.

Elder Elingson also knows the Elder who was shot in Nathan's mission. He used to play basketball with him in Colorado.

I'm always amazed at how small the world is.

One of our Elders is from Olympia, WA. We just got a new elder as well, he's from So Cal. He isn't my favorite missionary, he was winding the kids up. (To his credit, it doesn't take much with my kids)
