Interesting headline article in our local paper today about student unrest at Totem Middle School. Totem Middle School is the school that I recently withdrew Daniel from.
The school where he had his finger broken by another student.
Students at the middle school staged a walk-out for 2 hours during school to protest the school's inadequate discipline. I asked Danny if he would have walked out of class, he said he wouldn't have. I can't say that I support the walk-out (during class hours) by students. Of course, this comes from a mom that staged the ultimate walk-out by totally withdrawing her son from this school.
