We had a new girl visiting at YW last night. I got to talking with her - she has her own horse. I asked her what the horses' name was - she calls him Vinny.
Short for Vincent Van Gogh. Vincent Van Gogh sounds very artistic, but Vinny - that's a name for a mafia hit man. Or Vinny Barbarino .

It is a wonder Travolta had a career after "Welcome Back, Kotter". Nice moves though.
And I love that Don McLean song--it is the emotional blackmail that got me to choose Humanities as my major (true story).
My husband heard me listening to the clip and came over to tell me he loved the song. He didn't know it was about Van Gogh (trueish story).
keira, that song was enough to make me "consider" Humanities as a major. Thankfully, I took it in my last semester and didn't get swayed into the world of art, music, and lit.
