Sometimes getting older does mean getting better. Danny didn't get what he most wanted for his birthday - and he was disappointed - but he didn't inflict his disappointment on the rest of us (too much). He took it like a man.
I hope none of the grandkids were sick, because we relit the candles 3 times so that they could each have a shot at blowing them out. And being sick isn't something I want to see my family "take like a man".
