Alex is a cheap kid. And easy. When it comes to clothes - including shoes. He is not overly concerned with style. For the past 3 (or so) years he has opted for the same exact shoes. I don't mind a bit - he makes them last an entire year - and then he keeps the old pair for lawn mowing/yard work. This year's pair of Sketcher's came with optional black laces. I'm not sure if he's quite ready for that...
