I'm not sure who was more nervous - Alex or me. He certainly didn't look nervous. The examiner that he ended up with was a really nice guy (nice people work at the DOL???). He passed just fine....90%. We now have another licensed driver in the house. We've already alerted our insurance company. Believe me, we know the importance of insurance. Each of our first 4 children have totalled a vehicle. We're hoping that Alex decides to stop that trend.

Things to look forward to.
We should start a support group, my four drivers also have each wrecked a car. Will it help that he is older? My three boys each had an "incident" at age 16, my daughter waited until she was 17 although in her defense she was the one child not at fault.
My kids haven't always been the ones at fault...but the cars were still wrecked.
My favorite was when Andrew got in a wreck (not his fault) the day we left him home while we were taking Nathan to the MTC. We didn't replace that car until after Andrew went on his mission.
It must be your hill. Gaby is the only one to total a car (and in her defense it was not, not, not her fault). True, Darrold sent one gently rolling down hill into a swamp, but we tend to overlook that one.
None of our cars have been wrecked on our hill. Just saying.
