A "Sterling" Example...

10 hours of Sterling.

I'm thinking that Sterling takes after his oldest brother, Kaith. Thankfully. For a 13 month old he has been remarkably well behaved today. During 3 hours of church today we only spent about 15 minutes total in the halls - and that was only because he was starting to get "chatty" - not fussy.

He was pretty tired after church, so I sent him with Steve and Danny while they collected fast offerings. That did the trick - he fell asleep and slept until 4pm. Woke up just in time for dinner.

Stephanie and Cory picked up Sterling just after 6:30pm. I think they were surprised at how well behaved Sterling had been. I know I was - but it was a very pleasant surprise.

While I'm on the subject of grandkids - does anyone out there have an "Evil Emperor Zurg" costume? That is the only Christmas gift that Kaith has asked for. Repeatedly asked for. The only one that Stephanie has been able to find is on eBay for $60 - which seems to be a bit steep.

I'm not sure how worried I should be that Kaith's favorite characters are Darth Vadar and Zurg. It seems he is bent on galactic domination. I'm hoping that being his grandmother will stand me in good stead when he achieves his goal.

If you loved him, you would make one. :) Ok, I only suggest, because you can sew and I can't. Maybe Sherri would step up for you, she's known for some great costumes.

While I love my grandchild, making a fancy costume could set a precedent that I don't want to have to follow.

...begin as you mean to go on....

Galactic domination...At least he has a well-defined set of goals.
