Oh no, you didn't.

Quitter? Quitter? The gauntlet has been thrown. After reading my previous post my brother-in-law Michael had the effrontery to call me a quitter. I stand by my statement that I like to finish what I set out to do. Maybe I don't always get everything done that I'd like to, but I look at New Years resolutions more as "guidelines" rather than rules.

That said, here's my plug for being politically involved in the New Year.

My goal for the new year? To throw a gauntlet. :)

I see your comment on my blog. I'm very new to this blogging thing so forgive me for plagerising the title of your blog. i had no idea that anyone else had ever heard that saying.
Growing up, my father used to say that all the time when we'd get hurt. He claims he got it from his father. All 3 of us are/were in the auto repair business so I'm not sure if it originated there (doubt it) or if it is just on old "folksy" saying??? My father is from Evanston Wyoming. A conversation with my four brothers reveals that they say it to their children also!
