Farewell to Christmas....

The tree is down...and while it was a pretty tree, I am happy to reclaim floor/window space.  While I'm at it, I think I will go ahead and take down most of the rest of our Christmas decorations.

Steve has already given me another major project...he tore apart my office this morning so that the new internet router could be installed behind my desk (it happens to be the most central place in the house, darn it).

I plan on focusing my efforts on cleaning up Christmas...and shall place a virtual invisibility cloak over the whole mess.  Since we don't really have an invisibility cloak, I shall borrow heavily from Douglas Adams and wrap it all in a "SEP Field" (Someone Else's Problem).  That way, even though it is still there, it will be undectable.

Ok. I got the boxes out. Now I just need to start putting stuff in them. Yup. That's what I need to do. Just need to do it. But today is not that day. :)

I got about 99% of Christmas put away . Not counting "disposables" - such as snow flakes and Christmas cards. The other 1% will dribble downstairs as I find it.

Not Scrooge, just claustrophobic. I do not live in a large house.

I never put the boxes away! that makes it easier to deChristmas the house. I love Christmas Decor but It's fun redecorating the house w/my old stuff after the holidays. Nothing ever seems to go back into the spot it came from. And here it was never out to begin with. So we will see how it turns out. Still need some built-ins to help w/the holding of things!
congrats at getting right on it. I had someone ask me w/scorn "You're putting Christmas away already?"
