Shut In

I didn't expect to wake up to snow this morning. I had the morning off from seminary - the high school had a scheduled late start - so I "slept-in" until 5:45am. I said goodbye to Steve as he left for work and THEN realized that instead of lolling about in bed all morning I should have gotten up so that my ladies maid could have given me a hand.

I was going to go to the post office today - we're out of foreign stamps - but between the snow and lack of a proper foundation...I guess I'll stay home.

We got a dusting too. Jonah thought that the people from school had gone around and put something on the roads so that the snow wouldn't stick. He was nearly irate...

I'm sure that Steve wouldn't like the title "ladies maid", but it cracked me up to no end. Way to stick it out Steve.

It's not the snow...it's the hill!!!
A nice warm coat could have covered the other problem...after all you're in the Northwest granola girl ;)

I can't think of anything to say that would be appropriate to put in writing except are you really a granola girl?

No. I am not a granola girl...but I guess I could be. Except that I hate raisins. Haha.

I do admit to going bare legged to seminary a few times lately - if I'm wearing a longish skirt. Putting on knee high nylons isn't that hard to do one-handed, but it does take about 5 times longer than two handed.
