It's Official....

I'm the world's biggest klutz.

I tripped on one of Steve's shoes yesterday (he wasn't in them)...caught my pinkie toe in them and....ummm...yeah, I broke it.

I'm pretty sure I've broken a pinkie toe before (the time I fell off the ladder while painting Keira's kitchen comes painfully to mind)...but I don't think I've broken one so thoroughly before.

It's a good thing the weather is turning ever so slightly warmer.  I'll be the only 50 year old wearing flip-flops to church today.  And limping.

Ouch! That's got to hurt. A shoe did that? I feel so sorry for you. I hope your toe heals up quickly.

There are so many things that we would never think would hurt us. I got stitches because I cut my finger on a pull tab lid and I had no idea that they could hurt you, but they can. Ever since then, it has opened up my eyes and I am more careful now. Not just around can lids, but around so many things.

It is a good thing we live in a world of instant documentation or I never would have believed it was that bad.

It's also a good thing we live in a world of Picnik - so I can make sure the colors show up bright and clear.

Oh my goodness. That looks gangrenous. Are you sure you weren't trying to break something a little bigger in order to go to the hospital for "research"?

How did the flip flops go over at church?

I agree the toe looks like it's about ready to fall off. In spite of a slight tendency to bend in a direction that it shouldn't, it still seems firmly attached.

I should say we skip the walking tour of Charleston.

Agreed?
